Oh my love Mange, I still remember the first day we met
Your face was glowing like a dark blue moon and
Your three square eyes were sparkling in a gloom
You knocked my heart and brain as the semester went on and
now, you have stole my heart and brain
Oh my darling Manage, you have touched my intelligence and knowledge
Our world might have been different but nothing was able to stop us, like Romeo and Juliet!
You taught me well about your world, business world
We have stopped at many chapters and made priceless memories
Now, it is time for me to say good bye but my passion for you will never change

Blog Assignment
Well, it was my first time writing a blog so it was definitely a new experience. Overall, I did enjoy writing a blog and always found myself excited to read other people's comments on my blog. However, there were times I found it annoying. I did not like the fact that I was required to comment on other people's blog because sometimes I really did not have anything to say about their blog entries but had to write something because it was required. I mean, commenting on other people's blog makes me read about their views and opinions but not everyone puts an interesting entries. I think the professor should just suggest students to comment on each other's blog instead of making it as one of requirements. This way students will comment on each other's blog more naturally and won't feel forced. I did feel benefited from meeting other class mates online and felt that I got to know them more. There are about 80 of us and it is hard to get to know all of us individually . However, through this blog assignment, I did get to know each classmates more. This assignment also did help me re-think about the lectures that the professor went over in class and class activities. Since I had to answer the questions, I had to re-think about the lessons that we learned in class. However, I do not think this assignment required any outside reading or thinking. This assignment was definitely a give away points, but it does require some work and effort. However, not only does it help you to get a better grade, but it is another way to learn about the real life management. I am going to try to keep on posting my thoughts or ideas about my life even after this class. I think this assignment has helped me learn more about myself and others at the same time.

My trip to McDonald
First, I ordered a small hamburger with four pickles and small well done French fries with out salt and asked for the receipt that showed the exact order that I made. I had to emphasize my special requests couple of times. As she was taking my order, she smiled and afterwards she looked up and asked me if this was for school assignment and I told her that it was not.
Then, she went back to put down my special requests on the receipt. At first, she told me that she couldn't put down four pickles on my receipt but after punching the buttons on her system couple of times, she was able to put down four pickles on my receipt and without salt for the French fries. However, she was unable to put down well done on my receipt. I told her that I really needed to get the word 'well done' on my receipt so she tried again but she couldn't do it. Then the manager came and she explained him the situation. He tried to put the word ‘well one’ on my receipt, but he couldn’t do it because he said that it would change the principle of their system. The personnel then double checked my order and asked me if I wanted anything else. As I told her that I did not want anything else, she went to tell the burger makers to put down four pickles on my burger. She shouted, "Four pickles! Just four!! "For a second, there was a miscommunication. The burger makers were confused and kept asking for the number of pickles that they had to put. After repeating about five times, the burger maker understood and started to move. There were about three burger makers and they were just talking and laughing before the personnel requested a burger with four pickles. As the burger maker started to make my burger, the personnel went to fry my French fries. Even though there were lots of fries on French fries section, because I specifically requested for the fries with out salt, she had to fry new French fries. It took about 5 minutes for them to get my order ready. As she got the fries, she went to get my burger. However, for a second she couldn’t find a right burger. She asked the burger girl where the burger with four pickles was. The burger maker girl found my burger and handed to the personnel. The order was completed correctly. My hamburger had four pickles and small fries were well done and did not have salt. However, I was unable to get word ‘well done’ on my receipt.
Overall, all the staffs were doing their jobs and were productive. I would give them eight out of ten only because the burger makers had hard time understanding the word ‘four pickles’ and took a while for them to figure it out. The personnel, who took my order, really tried her best to complete my order.
I felt that the staffs were trying their best to get the receipt that I asked for. After all, the personnel spend most of her time trying to put down the special requests that I made on my receipt. I expected them to give me an attitude but instead they were very friendly and willing to help.
If I was brought in as a consultant to McDonald’s, I would train the staffs on how they are supposed to react and operate whenever the customer makes special orders. This way the staff will be ready to take special orders and satisfy customers.

I am the D kind of person~ lol
I would say that the test result was pretty accurate. I was happy with my result. I was surprised that only couple of people were in my section. I was in High D to I section, where everyone wrote their names really big and were determined to be "the leader. " I do not think people perceive me as a leader in the beginning because I tend to be shy and listen to others. However, after a while, I will end up talking the most and share my thoughts. I do not let anyone boss me around nor do I boss anyone around. However, I get very mad or upset when people do not agree with me. I will start argue and will not lose. I am very stubborn but I do try to understand other people. Sometimes, I speak up and act as a leader right away. I like having the power and being a leader. I may not be the most organized person in the world, but I am responsible. I do not quit and I like challenges. I like adventures and trying out new stuff. I do participate in all of my classes. I am not really afraid of talking out loud.
I think these test do help people in terms of finding out each person's management type. It will also help people learn about themselves.
For the winter survival scenario, I think I would want type C leader/manger to be around. This leader/manager will concentrate on key details, think analytically, weigh pros and cons. This person will be aware of the circumstances and find the best solution that will help me survive.

My Beautiful Future
As I was growing up, I dreamed of many things. However, as I was getting older, I realized that I couldn't just dream but needed to set a goal and plan it to achieve it. Before I went to college, I did not know what I was going to do because I had no passion for anything. However, my parents have helped me to set a goal and find my career. I am planning to get a CPA in two and a half years and work at one of big four accounting companies. Sounds little boring? This isn't my dream but it is one of steps that I need to take to achieve my ultimate goal. After working for a year or so, I am going to save money to go to law school. My dream school is Yale. I am going to do whatever it takes to go to Yale law school. I am planning to study at Yale either bankruptcy law or financial law and become a bankruptcy or financial lawyer. At the same time, I want to keep on studying Buddhism and hopefully become enlightened. I am also planning to take pottery classes starting this year and open my own gallery before I turn 30. I am also planning to continue on playing violin and join one of NYC orchestras this fall. One of my biggest dream is to travel the world and learn all the cultures. I want to learn French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, German and etc. I am also planning to live in Iceland after my retirement and design my own igloo house and get a penguin. Don't worry, I am not crazy. However, it is my dream and I hope to come true in one day. Until then, I am going to work hard and just keep on moving.

Decision Making
During the decision making, I used avoidance and collaborating ways to handle the chaos. In the beginning I was going to voice out my ideas but it seemed like other people were voicing out my ideas for me. I thought that it would be best to just listen and save my energy from screaming and arguing with the other classmates. I decided to sit back and just listen. I did talk to the classmates who were sitting around me and shared my thoughts. However, as the time went on, I was getting frustrated because I felt like there were too many people arguing with each other and we were not going anywhere with all the ideas that we had. Then all of sudden, this one guy decided to leave the class. Professor had to stop him from leaving and ask him to stay. This has somehow stopped all the arguments for a second. However, people started to argue again. Then this guy name Teddy stepped up and started to put all the ideas together. At that point, I was collaborating with everyone and trying to pick a best option for me and other people. We all agreed on one option and made a decision. I was happy that we finally got to make a decision and Professor agreed on it. I think that the decision that we made was a best decision that we could have made from the time that we had and the environment that we were in. I was just amazed that 80 of us made an one decision together.

An Eggs-cellent Way to Plan
Since the professor defined our goal, our group started with step 2 and bypassed step 1. At step2, we started to gather resources and information to come up with a plan. We had a person who knew what we had to do to accomplish our goal. We decided to follow his plan.
However, at step 3, instead of just following his plan, we came up with different idea. We imagined each ideas that we thought of and picked the one that we all agreed on. We thought that our new plan was going to keep our egg safe. We started to sketch our model. Actually, this took the longest and we had a hard time picking the model. However, we did come up with a model that we all agreed on to use.
It was time for us to build an actual model. We were at step 4. The girl who drew the model built the actual model, since she knew exactly how it was supposed to look like. Rest of us were trying to help her out by holding the straws and tapes.
Finally, it was time for us to drop the egg. We were at step 5. Unfortunately, our egg didn't make it but we were very close at saving our egg. Overall, it wasn't bad as other ones but we did not accomplish our goal. I thought that we putted lot of time on skeching the model and relied on one person too much. We didn't put the most effort as a group to accomplish our goal. .
Also, when we were building the actual model, we did not divided the work evenly and allow other members in the group to contribute.
